Exciting changes are underway at The U.P. Steam and Gas Engine Association’s Antique Village, particularly at its beloved ice cream shop, now under new management and sporting a fresh name.
Dave and Jennifer King, owners of Rapid River Dairy Flo, have eagerly stepped in to lead the operation, rebranding it as the Corner Cone. With a keen eye for innovation, they’ve introduced a range of delectable treats, including hand-dipped shakes, sundaes, and banana splits, sure to delight visitors.
Not only are the Kings bringing new flavors to the table, but they’re also committed to upholding their signature service standard. Jennifer King emphasizes their dedication to fast, friendly service, a hallmark of their establishment at Rapid River Flo, which they aim to replicate at the Corner Cone. With a warm and welcoming staff, customers can expect an exceptional experience with every visit.
The Corner Cone invites patrons to indulge in its offerings every Thursday from noon to 4 p.m., as well as during special events. This Saturday, the shop will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in celebration of the annual Antique Village Day and Music Festival.
Conveniently located at the south end of the U.P. State Fairgrounds behind the Delta County Chamber of Commerce, the Antique Village offers a charming backdrop for enjoying delightful ice cream treats at the Corner Cone.
