Suspect Apprehended for Theft at Ocala Dairy Queen

OCALA, Fla. — Law enforcement officials in Ocala have arrested Timothy Brown, 41, following an attempted theft at a local Dairy Queen fast food restaurant.

Authorities report that Brown allegedly attempted to steal ice cream and a soda from the Dairy Queen located on East Silver Springs Boulevard late Sunday evening. According to deputies, Brown entered the establishment and placed the items into his backpack.

After a brief search, deputies apprehended Brown and discovered the stolen ice cream along with drug paraphernalia inside his backpack.
