CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Morris-Jenkins, renowned for its longstanding presence in heating and air services, is embracing a new community engagement approach with a refreshing twist: free ice cream.
Casey Welch, spokesperson for Morris-Jenkins, shared the inspiration behind this initiative, aiming to evoke nostalgic joy among the community. “I wanted to bring back the excitement of the ice cream truck,” Welch stated. “It’s a timeless idea that brings smiles to both kids and parents alike.”
Dubbed “Catherine the Ice Cream Lady,” the initiative involves a mobile ice cream truck that will visit parks throughout Charlotte, offering a variety of classic treats including icy treats, snow cones, Bomb Pops, Drumsticks, and old-fashioned favorites. The truck will be recognizable by the Morris-Jenkins jingle, heralding its arrival and free ice cream distribution.
