MARIETTA, OH (WTAP) – The O’Neill Center recently held an ice cream social, providing seniors with a refreshing treat and a chance to cool off during the summer.
Tricia Mumaw, a representative from Continuing Healthcare Solutions, emphasized the importance of giving back to the community, particularly to its senior members. “Our seniors have given so much to us, so we love to give back to them any way we can,” Mumaw said. “Ice cream seems like a simple gesture to show our appreciation for what they’ve done for the community.”
Vicky Boley, a senior attendee at the social, expressed her enjoyment of the events organized by the O’Neill Center. “They do a lot of nice activities, and they’ve added a lot of new ones,” Boley said. “It’s a lot of fun to come to.”
The event highlights the O’Neill Center’s commitment to creating enjoyable and engaging activities for seniors in the community.
