Davenport, Iowa (KWQC) – The Davenport Police Association invites the community to join them for a family-friendly ice cream social event.
The annual Cops and Cones Ice Cream Social event will take place at Vander Veer Botanical Park on Aug. 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. According to event organizers, the event will be held near the playground, and guests will enjoy a free single-dip Whitey’s Ice Cream cone while connecting with Davenport Police Officers.
Davenport Police Corporal Brittany Berger expressed the significance of the event: “The annual Cops and Cones event is more than just an opportunity to enjoy some free ice cream, it’s a chance for us to connect with our community outside of a call for service. We look forward to seeing everyone at Vander Veer Botanical Park for an evening of fun.”
