Nico’s Ice Cream, an Oregon-based company renowned for its “New Zealand-style” ice cream, has chosen California’s Central Coast for its first out-of-state expansion. Specializing in a unique blend of ice cream and real fruit, the company previously announced the opening of its inaugural location on Cannery Row, expected to launch within a month.
Owner Nico Vergara revealed to KSBW 8 that the second location will be situated in Santa Cruz at 111 Locust Street, with plans to open in approximately two and a half to three months. This expansion reflects the company’s commitment to bringing its distinctive flavors to new markets.
