Swensen’s Unlimited is set to establish a new restaurant in VivoCity, offering a more accessible option for fans who find the Changi Airport Terminal 2 location too distant.
The upcoming venue aims to replicate the dining experience of the original branch, renowned for its international buffet concept. Guests can expect live cooking stations featuring a variety of dishes, including pasta, pizza, and laksa, as well as Peranakan-inspired cuisine and a rotation of Swensen’s signature offerings like baked rice.
A highlight of Swensen’s Unlimited is its impressive selection of 48 ice cream flavors, encompassing both classic and inventive choices, along with an array of toppings. Dessert enthusiasts will appreciate the option to enjoy their ice cream with freshly made waffles or croffles.
In addition to its dessert offerings, the restaurant will include a seafood station featuring fresh shellfish and a carving station with a variety of meats, including roast striploin and lamb.
If pricing aligns with that of the Changi Airport branch, diners can expect to pay approximately S$35 for adults and S$15 for children during lunch, and S$38 for adults and S$25 for children during dinner.
While the official opening date has yet to be announced, the restaurant will occupy the second floor of VivoCity, previously home to Earle Swensen’s. This expansion is anticipated to draw both new visitors and loyal Swensen’s fans, combining nostalgic elements with diverse dining options.
The VivoCity location promises to be a valuable addition to Singapore’s vibrant culinary landscape, allowing patrons to indulge in Swensen’s celebrated ice cream and hearty buffet selections without the need to travel to the airport.
